Engineering Consulting Services

  • ESI performed and managed all phases (design, specification, material selection, statements of work, bid evaluations, contractor selection, contractor over site, contractor safety plans, project management, final acceptance, development of standard operating procedures, preventive maintenance plans, job safety analysis, etc.) for the following projects. Renovation of waste acid storage system, auxiliary waste acid holding tank system, rebuilt waste chrome treatment system, cooling tower installation, Z-mill piping replacement, pickle line renovation, fume scrubber replacement, automated inspection system installation. Projects ranged from $50,000 to $800,000

Environmental Engineering Services

  • ESI designed and installed 10 gallon per minute telemetry driven total fluids extraction system (TFE) for the removal of solvents from soil around underground storage tanks. $120,000
  • ESI designed, fabricated, and installed a retrofit oil water separator/filtration system to permit client to meet new discharge requirements of 10 ppm. $100,000
  • ESI designed and installed a telemetry driven oil water separator/ultra-filtration system to reduce oil content to less than 1 ppm. $75,000
  • ESI designed a telemetry capable 50 gpm pump and treat system for BTEX contamination to protect a well head water supply. $80,000
  • ESI designed, specified, procured, and installed over 50 total fluids extraction systems for BTEX remediation. All systems were telemetry driven. Typical run time efficiencies of the systems exceeded 85%. Typical site remediation times ranged from 1.5-3 years from system start up to site closure. The systems ranged from 5 to 25 gpm and from 400 to 3800 ACFM at vacuums up to 23 in. Hg. The systems used both vertical and horizontal wells for extraction. $80,000-$1,000,000
  • ESI designed, specified, procured, and installed over 10 air sparge/soil vapor extraction systems some with pump and treat assist for BTEX remediation. All systems were telemetry driven. Typical run time efficiencies of the systems exceeded 90%. Typical site remediation times ranged from 1.5-3 years from system start up to site closure. The systems ranged from 5 to 15 gpm. and from 100 to 800 ACFM at vacuums up to 12 in. Hg. The systems used both vertical and horizontal wells for extraction/injection. $70,000-$150,000

Chemical Engineering Services

  • ESI specified, purchased, and maintained a 30 gpm RO water system.
  • ESI developed specifications and documentation for procurement of a waste treat system for a plating shop. $500,000
  • ESI designed, specified and managed renovation of plating shop while maintaining production. $250,000

Facilities Engineering Services

  • ESI managed multiple facility renovation projects. The projects ranged from asbestos abatement to the relocation of whole departments while maintaining production. $25,000-$500,000

Process Engineering Services

  • ESI managed, supervised, coordinated, designed, and controlled the construction of a printed wiring board plating facility in a former warehouse. The project included the specification, installation, start-up, and maintenance of the following: 60 gpm DI water system, 200 gpm waste water treatment system, clean rooms, HVAC systems, floor coatings, electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, water distribution system, waste water collection system, process ventilation systems, air scrubber system, equipment and personnel relocation from existing facility to new facility while maintaining work flow. $5,000,000
  • ESI designed fabricated and installed customized printed wiring board fabrication equipment to reduce down time and improve process through put. $200,000
